Are we Married or are you my Roommate or my Child!

The Beginning!

Are We Married, Roommates Or Are You My Kid?

We said ‘I Do’ on December 31st,

Heralding the New Year with the declarations of our love.

You promised to cherish, support, and kiss me through my morning breath till death us do part.

You signed the required documents and I followed suit but lately the romance has been missing boo.

No morning wood to fire up my day, I am left to explore my own release day after day.

Though the memory of our wedding day remains crystal clear your warmth that filled me has been chased away by the cold.

We miss each other in the mornings purposely I’ve come to suspect but miss each other not at all in the evenings while we’re playing with our phones instead of chess.

Life is comfortable, it would be selfish to complain but you have not touched me in five months and I am about to detonate.

You say work is exhausting and you are too tired to make love but your friends visiting every week for your sports events is pushing me towards causing bodily harm.

You have asked me to guard my tongue and wisely I agreed but patience departed our union months ago like a butterfly caught by the wind, swiftly and never to be seen again.

Marriage, that sacred bond we legalized in front of friends and family can survive may trials but its time you seek therapy before I pack your bags and put them outside by the curb.
